Taxidermy Live Demonstration

I will be doing a live taxidermy demonstration at Stroud Valley Artspace on Saturday 13th May 2-3pm. Please go check out the event link here

Here's a blurb extracted from the event:

Artist and taxidermist Becky Dick will be doing a live taxidermy session involving skinning, preserving a squirrel that has been ethically sourced from the RSPCA. You can see the step by step approach on how taxidermy is done, the traditional materials used, see all the tools, equipment, preservatives needed. You will be able to ask Becky Dick questions about her work, and taxidermy. Becky Dick was trained by Taxidermist David Keningale. She graduated from Nottingham Trent University with first class honours in Decorative Arts in 2015. Since then she has been creating not only taxidermy, but “textile” taxidermy and embroidery. You can see more of her work at www.taxtiles.com
